I looked back at the 118 rollover thread, and it took 50 minutes from first motion to transfer isle.  I guess they must be able to speed things up when weather is threatening.

So will they attach the sling this afternoon and begin the lift tonite or will there be a 24-hour delay now that they got into the VAB so much later than planned today?

Yes.  Used to span down the orbiter, but they might have changed tiles since her last flight.
