Will Atlantis' soaking have any impact on processing?
Not sure but I would not be concerned. They are just starting the process flow for its next mission. A few days/weeks under hot lights will bake off any water from tiles/blankets. They should be able to work around those over the course of the process flow. Besides. The bottom tiles should not have gotten wet as they would have been sheltered somewhat. the tiles on the sides of the orbiter and OMS pods are most likely the soaked ones and I am not sure how absorbant the blankets are but even if they are soaked as well we are only looking at the top half of the vehicle that absorbed a bit of rain. Assumptions on my part but it seems logical.
No problem with Atlantis' soaking. Ok, freezing as this is all moving to 122 processing now.
