And there's two SCA's, N905NA and N911NA.
Thanks DaveS. Which one?
If you mean which one will be used for the ferry flight this time, it's N905NA. NASA has decided to put N911NA in a "flyable storage" state for the remainder of the program.
Exactly what I meant, thanks for answering.

any new photos of Atlantis at Edwards?
No.
And here's the official explanation to what caused today's scrub:
Technical issues related to mounting of Space Shuttle Atlantis atop its modified Boeing 747 carrier aircraft Friday night forced a one-day slip in the shuttle's departure from Edwards Air Force Base on the first leg of its ferry flight back to the Kennedy Space Center.
Shuttle officials advised that although Atlantis was soft-mated on the three supports atop the modified 747 Friday night, difficulties with proper alignment slowed final lockdown, forcing the one-day slip in schedule. As it stands now, the ferry flight departure will not occur until at least early Sunday morning, July 1, with takeoff no earlier than 5:30 a.m. Pacific time. The actual time of departure will be determined after a weather briefing early Sunday morning.

Does anyone know what the preferred landing direction is at SLF, if wind is not an issue? Just wondering what to expect if I go try to get some photos.

Unless the SCA isn't like a normal aircraft -- it'll land on the runway that has the most headwind.

I've not seen anything, but I've been out most of the evening/night due to you-know-what over here so catching up  Will update if we hear anything.

STS Tony - 30/6/2007 8:35 PM Do we know if Atlantis was successfully mated on the SCA for Sunday's trip?
One of my brothers drove down to Edwards AFB this afternoon to check out Atlantis on his binoculars, and told me it's now mated to the SCA (he was still too far from the main base to take good enough pictures of the orbiter...even with zoom lens). It's ready to go back to FLA tomorrow.

That's obvious, thus the question about when winds aren't an issue. They are forecast to be light crosswind with very little component down the runway.
