Dzus fasteners will not engage unless aligned perfectly. There is no leeway.
That has been my experience as well. It's the main reason I sugested expansion/contraction of the structure to be the culprit.

Why are they moving the base out?
Well, S5 will be arriving in a couple of months, for one thing. Also, they like to test out the various worksites as they are added, just to make sure everything's working all right.

Great narration, thanks all!
Maybe I can make an additional helpful comment, or this may have been covered already. But it's something people have asked me to explain in the past.
The AOS boundaries are traditionally a circle around the ground site where the comm facility is located (ragged for topo or structural interference along the horizon). But the AOS circles for the TDRS satellites can be puzzling, not because they are so much bigger (reasonable since the facility is in orbit) but that the AOS condition is OUTSIDE the closed circle, not inside. The TDRS for each circle is located alove 180 deg opposite the center point of the very wide circles.
The reason for this is clear with a little consideration of space geometry -- eachTDRS in a GEO slot has an AOS circle on Earth's circle that is centered directly BELOW the satellite and covers most but not all of the facing hemosphere. But an AOS circle for something IN LOW EARTH ORBIT is much wider. It is wider by about the distance of the LEO satellite to ITS horizon -- and that is wide enough to extend the 'normal' GEO AOS circle 'around the edge of the planet' into the hemisphere facing AWAY from the TDRS sat of interest.
Make a sketch -- try this at home -- to satisfy yourself that is so, and then look at the world maps with the AOS circles and figure out where each of the three TDRSS sats for the three TDRSS AOS circles are really located.
Or maybe this was already obvious and I'm being redundent. But I think the unearthly geometry is cool.

Anyone know if there's a post EVA MSB?
Per MCC-H PAO Pat Ryan the MSB has been cancelled in favour of on-console interviews of the ISS FD and ISS EVA officer. That is coming up in the next few minutes.

Keith Johnson Lead EVA director says that they are ready to rotate SARJ.
They are inline for preping ahead of the arrival of S5 on Endeavour.
MMOD panels, had problems, but in good shape with the tethers.
