External tether restraint system (ETRS) on the truss structure, now have TDRS-Z KU, half a minute to TDRS-West comm acquisition.

22 minutes to sunrise, we are under TDRS-West comm and periods of KU for the next 55 minutes, we can expect loss of KU from TDRS-Z soon and reacquire KU through TDRS-West after we pass Austrila and New Zealand, the KU pass right now is still through TDRS-Z.

The next ZOE pass occurs in 83 minutes and it will be longer than the last ZOE pass, 13 minutes this time around.

We just had loss of KU through TDRS-Z as I expected, next KU pass will be through TDRS-West after sunrise, no earlier than 3:00 PM EDT (7:00 PM GMT), now in a period of ratty comm through S-band through TDRS-West, static is normal, expect KU when we pass north and east of Australia and New Zealand on this pass, in about 20 - 25 minutes.

12 minutes to sunrise, 47 minutes left in this TDRS-West comm pass, before handover to East, this NO KU period after ZOE, moving over Australia and New Zealand, until we approach under TDRS-West in half an hour occurs every orbit (pass) and is normal!

Oops, I posted more of a screenshot than I wanted there, sorry, but it gives you an idea about what I doing to provide updates, NASA-TV in one window, NSF in another and STSPLUS in a third.

3 minutes to sunrise, probably about 15 minutes away from good KU coverage through TDRS-West.

Yes it is, but it is hard to keep track of three things at one time, it is like juggling things in the air.

Around 1 minute to sunrise, complex is passing south of Australia and when it starts to move northeast towards TDRS-West over the central Pacific Ocean, KU will improve as line of sight KU to TDRS-West improves. Be patient everyone, should have KU sometime in about 20 minutes.

Drag link structural support of the keel pin has been moved into the truss segment, to clear the way for the Mobile Transporter to move on its railway.
