What was all that about with Swanee? Look at the orbiter, swing out your left arm... what?
Photo for the kids.
Ahh... ok. That never occurred to me.

17 minutes to the ZOE, expect a loss of KU shortly before this time however, this is normal for KU loss to occur just before we enter the ZOE so expect it to happen every orbit (pass).

Scheduled today was the move of the Mobile Transporter (MT) from Worksite 7 (WS7) to WS8, then back to WS4.
I belatedly realize that I am really fuzzy on where the train stations are located on the Space Station Railway! I believe WS4 is on S0 and WS7 is on P1.... can someone list the various MT worksites and where they are? Is there a document or a diagram that describes them? (and pushing it, does someone have a historical timeline of
MT positions since it was installed?)
Jonathan
Train stations from starboard to port:
WS1 S3
WS2 S1 (outboard)
WS3 S1 (inboard)
WS4 S0 (starboard and home position)
WS5 S0 (port)
WS6 P1 (inboard)
WS7 P1 (outboard)
WS8 P3
WS9 S6 (inboard, outboard rails AFAIK canceled and WS therefore not reachable)
WS10 P6 (inboard, outboard rails AFAIK canceled and WS therefore not reachable)

As I said earlier, we may get some bonus KU through TDRS-Z on this pass (ref FD 10 execute pack comm summary) but that will not occur for about 10 minutes from now, if it happens. 3 minutes to sunset, 5 minutes to ZOE.

Good going on the Ku calls there sts1canada!
Thanks Zach, I only have two pieces of info to help me make these predicts, STSPLUS and the FD 10 execute package comm summary to go by, no magic on my end.

2 minutes to the ZOE, sunset occurring now, sunrise again about 2:56 PM EDT, we may get some KU in about ten minutes (+ or - five minutes either way) from TDRS-Z if things line up right, it will be short KU pass.

About halfway through this ZOE pass now, 5 and half minutes to TDRS-West comm acquisition, may have some ratty comm after TDRS-West handover occurs, no TDRS-Z KU yet, hope to see it soon if the complex lines up to it without blockage etc.

What is the ETRS that Pat is installing now?
edit: never mind, they just said the full name.
