EVA Soon to start.
Psi falling as it is dumped overboard. If enough remains you may see the fabric cover "pop" off. If they have a view that is.

10 Minutes left of coverage on TDRS-East and 10 minutes to sunset, 7 minute ZOE coming up (KU may or may not be available during the ZOE), next TDRS-West coverage starts at 2:41 PM EDT (6:41 PM GMT) and the next sunrise will occur at 3:06 PM EDT (7:06 PM GMT), according to the KU coverage in the FD 6 execute package, we should have KU through TDRS-West at sunrise time around 3:06 - 3:10 PM EDT, we will be having blockage before then.

KU through TDRS-East has dropped out due to blockage as we move closer to the ZOE, don't expect to see KU now until after 3 PM EDT (7 PM GMT) unless we get a lucky break.

No problem Zach, I will try to give updates for the first half of the EVA for the next three hours and then I have to leave the coverage here but I will enjoy your updates when I get back here later. I just want everyone know when we can expect sunrise, sunset and KU on the EVA's, it make them easier to follow.

Now passing through the ZOE for seven minutes, sunrise at 3:06 PM EDT, KU through TDRS-West should resume after sunrise as the complex moves more in sight of TDRS-West, we may get some still video shots through the S-band system before then.

We are still the ZOE but it appears we have KU through TDRS-Z (this was shown as available in the FD 6 execute package, but you never know if we are going to see it during the ZOE). Handover to TDRS-West in a few minutes.

23 minutes to sunrise, we are now in TDRS-West coverage however don't expect KU coverage until after sunrise due to the complex's position in regards to TDRS-West, ratty comm for the next few minutes.

Inboard along box releasing any binding.
Steve working on box and wiggle.
Handoff hockey stick to go to outer leader.
Move to left blanket box... same.
Move out for retract!
Down to 24 bays before EVA.

Heading up the away. Warning to avoid sensors.

waiting impatient on the KU!
I want the KU now! It's the tax-payers that have pay for the station and all the hardware. Ok, it's not my tax money, but it's the principle.

edit. It's my tax money! Sweden it also in on it.

Comm has been absolutely horrid on this mission.
Maybe they need to purchase Ku time on Russian and private sats for video feeds.

We have 49 minutes left on TDRS-West for coverage, our best chance for KU right now is on TDRS-West, as I have said, expect KU around sunrise in about 15 - 20 minutes through West, the KU on TDRS-East after this looks very small, so do not expect KU after this West pass.
