Looks like there is some sticking on the left side, about 1/3 of the way down, from the Atlantis's view. Or is this just a lighting artifact?
Looks like lighting to me.

And just to give credit where credit is due. Whoever came up with this idea for Flight Day Highlights from the crew is a genius!
That is what can build excitement in the effort and help save NASA from this epidemic of lack of interest.

A bit off topic: So I guess no NASA Update with Griffin at 1pm EDT as per the TV schedule?

Only on the Education Channel, I believe.
Edit -- guess not!

While we're waiting for next deploy activity, I'm still thinking there's a story out there not being told about why more get-ahead tasks weren't performed yesterday. The stujff about EVA choreographing for EVA-2 doesn't hold water as it would have been no upset to the timeline for them to tackle the additional SARJ locks as was being suggested by mission control. None of the crack press corps even thought to ask about it at the mission status briefing. Now, I just heard talk about the crew wanting a private conference with some of the controllers to talk about some things from yesterday.

The mere fact that men and women are in space working together and building a structure such as the ISS is awe inspiring to me, and I can just barely remember the later Apollo missions (41 yo).
The fact we have this level of video coverage is also awe inspiring to me. Anybody want to switch back to those low res B/W video cameras from the Apollo era?

The downlinked highlights from the crew are fantastic!
However, I prefer it when the crews allow us to come on board live with the flight deck cameras. We saw this a lot on 114 I believe. Was there some kind of policy change asking the flight crew to not downlink live cabin video ?

There isn't a story. EVA crews get tired and this was a difficult EVA already. They know what they prefer to handle and really know what effects it has on the program as a whole.
EVA 4 will likely see the repair and nothing but get ahead tasks. There is lots that can still be done and there isn't a reason to worry about what their reasons were.

Let's keep this on the live coverage. Will delete this thread back a bit to ensure those reading through this later aren't confronted with some of the non-coverage posts.

1 minute to sunrise on this orbital pass, get ready for SA aft deploy to 49%, wait for 30 minutes and then extend to 100%. We will be in a day pass until 6:16 PM GMT or 2:16 PM EDT. We are on KU through TDRS-West for 18 minutes more.
