STS-117: Atlantis Rollout and Pre-Launch Updates (take two)

Following the processing of Atlantis/STS-117 on her second trip out of the VAB for this mission.
Rollout is currently 4am EDT (9am UK). NASA TV coverage from 6:30am EDT (11:30am UK).
Prior to TV coverage, there are a host of webcameras we can use to follow and post images from, which I'm encouraging as most of the Americans here will still be tucked up in bed when there's first motion.
http://science.ksc.nasa.gov/shuttle/countdown/video/ - click on the screen that shows rollout (usually channel 3 - save image and attach to a post here.)
http://webcams.ksc.nasa.gov/ImgCap/default.htm - is another.
We know people who'll be down with Atlantis for first motion, but if there's any lurking USA guys, please feel free to help us with any news you may know on status.
This thread will be used for pad processing and 117 updates until we get to S0007 Launch Countdown ops.

I believe 4am EDT is the same as 8am UK.

Nope. UK is currently on BST(British Summer Time) which is GMT+1. The roll is 0800 GMT.

Given the start time. There won't be the rerun of the ISS coverage at 7 am EST, 6 am CST will there? That's what I was worrying about for rollout being cut short.

No. Reruns are usually preempted by the live program on at that time.

This is for rdale whenever he is here again: What kind of meteorological chances do you give the rollout? Any signs for heavy rain and t-storms during the roll?

The Weather Channel's forecast for KSC says that there is a 30% chance of rain for late tonight and same goes for tomorrow throughout the day. Isolated thunderstorms are possible. Wind ENE at 15-25 mph at times.
Of course, it's not always the most reliable source. I am sure rdale can give a much more detailed account of the weather for tomorrow.

Whew, good. Yeah, I hate that when something interesting is cut off at the last moment. Such as during the last rollout.

About 5 hours to first motion!
Sorry about that, rdale. I am on Central time and got confused.

I don't see much potential for storms overnight, they've been setting up farther to the south towards Palm Beach. Closest lightning is about 60 miles south of KSC.
Showers will continue to form offshore and move inland on some brisk east winds, so it's possible one of those could pick up a little punch and flare up, but I'd doubt anything will happen in the morning timeframe that would prohibit rollout...

Rollout is scheduled for 4am EDT, which is less than 5 hours from when you posted... And we probably don't need a rollout countdown anyways ;>

It appears that 1st motion has been delayed as the crawler still hasn't lifted MLP-2 with Atlantis of the VAB pedestals.

Dave do you have some source at the scene or are you telling this from the (not so perfect) webcam view?

Webcam view+alot of experience watching Crawler operations. So can tell whether it's jacked up or not. Currently it's jacked up so the crawler only barely touches the bottom of the MLP.

As of 4:34 am EDT, the crawler still hasn't lifted the MLP off the VAB pedestals. Once this starts, it should only be 15 minutes or so until first motion out of HB-1.

Not unusual for delays in the start. Dave can you give any tips how you can tell when the MLP is lifted from the cam shots? So small I sure can't tell.
