He needs to learn from SpaceX that it's one step at a time.

Agreed, nice to dream but one step at a time (i.e. Make a profit)
Starship, Vulcan and Ariane 6 have all reached orbit.  New Glenn, well we are waiting!

He is taking it step by step, and with the continued success of Genesis 1, I'd say SpaceX might learn a lesson from him...

From a business perspective, Bigelow is better placed than anyone else right now to make money off of a NASA lunar base, as his company is the only now in the world with the knowledge and experience to build inflatable space habitats...

It looks to me like that's what they are doing. He clearly states in the interview that the LEO stuff is a priority, and any moon activities will only come after success in LEO. They also have a pretty reasonable set of incremental steps get to a manned habitat in LEO.
