Let's drop the coverage thing. It's NASA PAO who are at fault (once again).
It has nothing to do with the managers or engineers etc.... So long as she's rolling out ok, we can live without the TV pictures. It's not mission critical.

Really - missing live coverage of the rollout is really no reason to rant this much. Don't even TRY to say that this has any impact on the public's perception. To stay off topic, it's been cool and rainy in Florida the past few days, which might explain the lack of painting.
While you're sending messages to NASA about Rollout TV, might as well tell them you want live coverage when the painting resumes too...

From another website, S3/S4 module is scheduled to be installed into Atlantis payload bay on Monday, February 19. So R & R of those 6 SRB sensors will probably begin on Tuesday, February 20 at the earliest.

it's one thing to know how limited Atlantis' future flights are. It's another thing to see only four more flights on a graphic chart.
Incidentally, CNN Headline News just showed a "LIVE" shot of Atlantis in the VAB. I love "accurate and up to the minute" news services!

Chandon- are you able to post the link to where you are getting the pictures from. I have the same pictures but are about 4/5 minutes behind yours. I don't want to post them, just watch.

That's too funny, but at least they didn't mention Nowak for once!

A question of personal interest: when will she reach the pad and when will the RSS be closed? I may be able to swing by KSC on Sunday...

RSS must be closed before S3/S4 is installed on Monday, Feb. 19.

And almost at another crossroads...
[The thing is: sometimes the pics on the KSC webcams take a while to refresh...]

Just woke up. Sorry to hear about the PAO dropping coverage but thank you all for posting so I can catch up. I'll be watching throughout the day as she rolls along. It will be interesting to see her roll to 39A. Atlantis hasn't sat on 39A since February 7, 2001 when she lifted off for STS-98.

Channel 9 on the KSC video feeds (http://science.ksc.nasa.gov/shuttle/countdown/video/video45m.html) is from one of the pads. I'm hoping it's 39A so we can have a good approach shot (well, we probably will anyway)
comparing this with google earth, it is 39B... the white building on the left is perpendicular to the road at 39A.
