The Soyuz-U rocket for M-59 was No. 107 - was the rocket order rearranged?

What is the procedure if there is a problem with the rocket and the Progress either fails to orbit, or cannot reach the ISS?

As far as I know, although Progresses are flown every 90 days, it is possible to prepare a Progress and launch it within 45 days. So, ISS contains enough consumables - as a minimum - to operate for 45 days without Progress (the infamous "skip cycle reserve") and so life would essentially go on as normal even if Progress fails.

Untelevised. I'm pretty sure that Energia is going to issue a press-release once the Progress has launched.

That's one nice video, thanks John! I'd never seen a Progress docking (well, nor of any other spacecraft) from the Stations cameras... I liked it at contact and capture, when Progress M-60 rocked a bit as the docking mechanisms aligned, and the Station did so too! :)

I absolutely love thruster firings
