Good morning everyone wherever you may be,

I am considering making a career change and my interest was piqued by the idea of being an EVA flight controller and instructor. However, it has come to my attention that this position requires vision correctable to 20/20, like that of astronauts.

What I cannot find is if there are any exclusions in the manner in which this is corrected. For example, if someone has had corneal transplants, would they be disqualified from being selected to be an EVA instructor (I know they would be disqualified from astronaut candidacy, but it's unclear regarding other positions).

Any light that can be shed would be immensely appreciated!
