Is anyone following XCOR on a different Thread? There was some Twittering going on at Nasawatch.com that seemed to indicate they just had a test flight??? yet nothing on their web site. Anyone know what is going on?

thank you in advance

They've been flying their X-Racer that they developed for the Rocket Racing League.  I think between their test flights in Mojave and their demo flights at Oshkosh earlier this month that they're up to almost 30 flights now.  It's a lot of fun hearing the rocket noise here in Mojave, and taking a break for a few minutes to step outside and watch the show.  They're not allowed to publicize these flights since their contract with RRL specifies that RRL gets to control media access.  It's a pity, because XCOR has done a really good job with the X-Racer, and deserves better coverage than they've been getting.

Inexplicably, this video has footage of XCOR's rocket engines being tested...

It's a video about NASA's Project Morpheus... undisclosed XCOR involvement or shoddy stock video selection?

Must have missed something.  Thought Armadillo got that contract in the end?

"NASA Morpheus uses LOX/methane...the video was of an XCOR LOX/methane engine that NASA paid for... Close enough for government work." - Randall Clague / XCOR (twitter)

Jon's comment is from 2008 dude :)  XCOR had the original contract for the rocket racer.. there was a falling out and that vehicle was disassembled.
