A question, I suppose here's the best place to place it: are the panel-like MMOD shields for Zvezda still planned, or were those replaced by the strap-on design installed a few years ago?

In case they're still planned to fly, when are they going and which LV is carrying them?

23 debris panels and two MMOD wings for Zvezda module was NASA requirement, so, if NASA wants to install these two wings, then they will be delivered by Shuttle, if NASA does not want - then not.

I don't see them included on any of the shuttle cargo manifests to date, so I guess that answers the question. Caveat - STS 134 ELC3 content hasn't been fixed yet, I suppose there's a possibility it could get snuck in.

Seems odd to do this just prior to shuttle visit, when shuttle payload mass could possibly benefit from a lower ISS orbit, and/or instead using a shuttle reboost wouldn't consume scarce RS propellants.

Is there some other reason? Urgent need to match a specific shuttle launch profile? Or, am I wrong about supply of RS propellants with increased # of Progress launches? Other?

The main task of that reboost is a providing of appropriate ISS height profile for Progress M-04M docking, Soyuz TMA-16 landing and Soyuz TMA-18 docking. We should make maximum amount of the FD3 docking possibilities for STS-130 and STS-131 and maintain coordinated heights for their dockings. All this activity has been agreed with NASA.

I do not know about current date of ESP-3 relocation from P3 upper UCCAS to S3 lower outboard PAS. But these dates of PMA-3 and Soyuz TMA-16 relocation are old. As per erioladastra's message on previous page.

2010

January 26 - PMA-3 relocation from left port of Unity module to zenith port of Harmony module with SSRMS help

Moving PMA-3 to Harmony is a constraint to launch for STS-130.  Does anyone know why it has been delayed to late January?

Does anyone know the date when the JEM RMS SFA will be transferred to the JEF via the JPM airlock?

Various sources on this site say it will be sometime in January.

Various sources on this site say it will be sometime in January.

SFA assembly and attached it to the Kibo airlock slide table was completed today. Soichi Noguchi said SFA transfer will be March.
I think airlock depressurization pump assembly task will be need next.

I would guess clearance for mating of Node-3 in case of shuttle docking to PMA-3 but I'm not sure.

Why put PMA-3 on Harmony zenith?

Because on nadir there was interference with the new Node 3 ammonia lines.
