Launch 4 March 2024, at 23:56:00 UTC (6:56 pm EST), from CCSFS SLC-40, on booster 1073-13. The first stage successfully landed aboard A Shortfall of Gravitas.

Payload 23 Starlink V2 Mini satellites to 43 degree inclination orbit on a southeastern trajectory. Initial orbit 284 x 293 km.

Well 6-40 hasn't even been able to launch until after Crew-8 Dragon launches from 39A and 2nd stage re-entry NOTAMs for 6-41 have already been filed for NET March 3rd...(most likely won't be till 4th or 5th at the earliest though given 6-40 isn't able to launch till 1st unless Crew-8 get lengthy delays)

Looking further forward:

First date that ASOG could do 6-41 may well be 3 March. If this is the time constraint and pads can be ready in 2 days then 3rd March could hold but that does seem likely to be too optimistic for the pad turnaround. 4th March or later may well be more plausible.

Looking further forward:

It would seem that they may well want to keep the droneships busy to keep launch rates up. This would seem to suggest
they would want JRTI to do 6-40 on 1 March and 6-42 on ~9th March which leaves little time for preparing pad for CRS-30 on 12th. ASOG could do 6-41 on ~4th March and 6-43 from either pad 40 approx 3 days after CRS-30 or ~2 weeks after Crew-8 on 1st March.

So no rush seems to be needed for 6-41 launch date as there is plenty of time before ASOG droneship is needed again ~15th March. 3rd 4th 5th or even 6th may be ok to allow pad to be ready for launch ~9th March.

Note that the times are different from the NOTAM information posted above. It's in line with the launch opportunity late on March 4 UTC into early on March 5 UTC: 042344Z TO 050415Z (Backup Day #2 from the NGA Rocket Launching notice that starts on March 3).

Starlink 6-40; if it launches on time then Starlink 6-41 should launch on March 4. But which March 4 window?

Falcon 9 first stages are now apparently cleared for use up to twenty times for non-crewed launches, although that number is apparently more restricted for Cargo Dragon or Cygnus than these other payloads.

1064.6 and 1065.6 are the Falcon Heavy side boosters for Europa Clipper.

1072.1 and 1086.1 are assigned as the side boosters for GOES-U. 1083.1 is reserved for Crew-8.

1073.13 and 1076.11 may undergo modifications to become Falcon Heavy side boosters for a future launch, but both are currently available for "single-stick" launches.
