There have been many proposals to place a sunshade at L1:

Clearly Starship has relevance to the question of the feasibility of these schemes - regardless of whether you think they're feasible or not.
So: Will starship make it feasible (one might reasonably define "feasible" in more than one way)? How might different sunshade designs be deployed with starship?
There are inevitabily political sides to these questions, but I hope there is something to be said without getting too far into that for this site. More than that, please steer well away from the sort of subject matter you see at the end of this related thread from a decade ago:
