Delayed to May 6 - May 8 according to the NOTAM

https://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=57867.msg2679223#msg2679223

Edit: Confusingly, Commercial Launch Technology Tourism just announced roll out for tomorrow morning, mistake, a second rehearsal (one was done in November), or is the NOTAM inacurate?

Only CZ-12 has 1 drop zone.
I think the NOTAM judgments were wrong from the beginning. The delays have always been about CZ-12.
CZ-8 Y5 is targeting Aug-22-23 according to travel agency, which does not match any NOTAM.

Thanks, yes I have come to the same conclusion, comparing this NOTAM with previous CZ-12 and CZ-8 (2 boosters) one, it (in red) seems closer to the CZ-12.

However, CZ-8 Y6 also had only one NOTAM until shortly before the launch.

August 22/23? Why is it rolling out now then.

Because the launch site is LCC-1 not the LC-201.

But, August or April?

I'm not sure I understand, yes it is being transfered to HCSLC LCC-1 [1], the launch site was already announced as LCC-1 [2], and it already did a rehearsal at LCC-1 (shown earlier in thread). CZ-8 Y6 was transfered to HCSLC LCC-1 On March 2 for a launch 9-10 days later on March 11-12, don't you mean that the launch is in 9-10 days, so ~23 April?

You are correct, I typed the wrong date. It should be April 22-23. The launch time should be similar to Y6.

The new NOTAM on April 22 has the same location as the previous ones, and narrowed launch time from 15:39 to 17:02, comparable to CZ-8 Y6.

The Previous NOTAM A0768/25 on May 6-8 has been cancelled.

I've heard rumors that HICAL somehow may have damaged the rocket engine on the pad, and it's possible that the booster or core will need to be shipped back to the Tianjin factory.

It is reported that CZ-8A Y2 has been transfered to HCSLC LCC-1 for rehearsal before a launch later this month.
Given the advertised 2 weeks turnaround time of LCC-1 (in reality more for now)  this likely means CZ-8 Y5 cannot launch before mid-June.
