On various occasions there is news about one or another entity being investor in SpaceX:
- Elon Musk
- Founders Fund
- Baillie Gifford
- Valor Equity Partners
- Fidelity
- Gigafund
- Google
- Ontario Teachers fund
- etc.

Knowing that ARK has a lot of Tesla shares, maybe ARKX (ARK Space Exploration & Innovation ETF) has SpaceX shares?

Does somebody have more information?
- better list of shareholders
- share of the Fund assets that's invested into SpaceX (e.g. "0.442% of Fidelity assets are in SpaceX shares")
- share of SpaceX that each shareholder holds (e.g. Elon Musk holds ~50% of SpaceX... here maybe voting/non-voting shares are interesting)

Last I saw, I believe Elon was down to something like 37%. But with voting control of around 78%. But yes, my heart sinks a little each time I read of a new funding round, knowing Elon will drop a another percentage point or thereabouts as a result.

It is very unlikely that anyone other than SpaceX has that information, they may or may not even share with their private shareholders who else has shares.  I have shares in a private company, and all I know is that *I* have X% of the shares.

I would not be surprised, though, if they need further funding rounds, they structure them so that Musk retains voting control by a large margin.  There are certainly plenty of precedents of other tech companies where the founder sold most of the company by profits but not much by control, such as Facebook and Amazon.  I think investors like what Musk has done with multiple successful companies now enough that they would be fine with that, they may not really WANT control, they know they don't know enough to make decisions on directions for the company, they just want money.

On which front if Musk is still around in 20 years they may be kind of disappointed, since he has openly said he plans to spend the money SpaceX makes on colonizing Mars, which is unlikely to generate returns in the lifetime of anyone investing now.

Some of those listed funds report details to the SEC, but some do not.  For instance, the Fidelity funds report details to the SEC while the various Gigafund funds do not.

You might take a closer look in Pitchbook, but I bet there is a lot of out-of-date or wrong information.

Thanks!
I looked at the Pitchbook free preview page (which has some data obscured) and the except names of shareholder funds, the other interesting tidbit was:
"SpaceX investments/acquisitions: Epic Games   18-Sep-2020   Later Stage VC      Entertainment Software" - haven't heard news about that

As for my main question - which of the publicly tradable funds has greatest share of its assets into SpaceX - no info so far, only the 0.442% of Fidelity.
