I hope that'll be live on NASA TV ... don't think I ever saw live pictures from the payload bay once the doors are closed ...

No KU band silly  ;)   doors are closed and antenna is in the bay!

Yes but when the shuttle flies over a ground tracking station they can downlink live video rather than go to the satellite in geo.

There are no tracking stations.  The satellites replaced them

Weather word is unstable at KSC, still fighting winds at EDW and NOR is still forecast go for both attempts. No KSC wave-off at this time but they're going to hold off fluid loading and PADs.

Who's the 3rd guy sitting at the CAPCOM station? He's got a "yellow" jacket at the back of his chair...

Is there a layout map of the MCC somewhere where the console functions are shown? I think the girl is moving around to avoid back pains. She might be supervising a non critical system also....

When I caught a glance of him earlier, to me it sure looked like Steve Frick.

Ah, it's official... Wave-off, big surprise. First 2nd rev. TIG will be for Edwards, second will be for KSC. (I had to edit this part). So Northrup has a 1st opportunity on the 2nd rev but they're bypassing it, as per the original plan?

Well, the strategy outlined yesterday was this:
Rev 202: KSC
Rev 203: KSC, EDW
Rev 204: EDW, NOR
And if needed, Rev 205: EDW, NOR

It won't be completly dark Landofgrey. They sun will have set but I think we could see a nice evening sky with lots of orange and purples. Who knows? Pictures could turn out very dramatic

The landing times are EST, the sunset times are local. Local landing time is EST-3h, this is 2.27 pm PST. Daylight, even for the second EDW and WS landing times.

Looks like a night landing today.

THe 5:27:xx landing times at EDW and NOR are EST - so we're looking at a 2:27pm local at EDW or 3:27 at NOR - both daylight landings.

What kind of television coverage will be offered if we do end up at NOR? Will they have the same suite of long range infrared and tracking cameras as they do at the Cape and EDW?
