MCC think it's an issue with the microswitch.

Visual comments from Discovery claim the doors look fine.

I hope that'll be live on NASA TV ... don't think I ever saw live pictures from the payload bay once the doors are closed ...

No KU band silly  ;)   doors are closed and antenna is in the bay!

Yes but when the shuttle flies over a ground tracking station they can downlink live video rather than go to the satellite in geo.

Ken Ham's mum won't be pleased about seeing him munching on a sandwich and speaking to Discovery at the same time ;)

And the non generic, STS-116 specific ones and more are on L2 for those who are members on there.

Does anyone know the tail # of Steve Lindsey's plane so I can watch it on FlightAware?

Ah... yes they are on the wonderful L2 section. These were downloaded from jsc.nasa.gov but NASA doesn't publicize it for whatever reason. Or the link to the FOIA documents. Oh well, there's always this website, which is much easier to use anyway :)

Ken Ham just asked for an update on how the crew is doing with suitup, but he did so in a way that sounded to me a lot like he was going to ask them to hold off on it if no-one had suited up yet.

MCC is discussing the weather, should have an update for the crew in 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile the PLT is strapping into his seat on the flightdeck.
