If the current first stage rotation is continued, 1061.12 will be used for this launch (previously launched and landed December 30).

Edit February 24: It is 1061.12.

If the current first stage rotation is continued, 1061.12 will be used for this launch (previously launched and landed December 30).

there is a mission from SLC-4E, potentially before Starlink 2-7 based on Operation Start Dates (see below).  If they go in order it would be:

2031-EX-ST-2022  Starlink 2-6, scheduled for Jan Late, B1063.9 (prev launched Oct 27)
2079-EX-ST-2022  Starlink 2-5,  OSD Jan 22 (NET), B1071.7 (prev launched Dec 16)
0025-EX-ST-2023  Mission 1439, OSD Feb 11 (NET),  B1061.12 (prev launched Dec 30) RTLS, maybe Sarah 2+3
0089-EX-ST-2023  Starlink 2-7,  OSD Feb 13 (NET), B1075.2 (prev launched Jan 19)

I understand this isn't a sure fire means of determining which goes first but it's a data point

There is a big storm coming down the coast.  Though the rain and wind should be past by Monday, getting the drone ship out of Long Beach between now and then might be a challenge.  There is significant wind going on right now, and the rain is expected to begin tonight.

Scorpius the tug and Quest the fairing boat are still tied up in Long Beach.  There are strong on-shore winds right now, it's raining pretty good, and there are very high seas in the recovery area.

SpaceX is targeting Monday, February 27 at 11:31 a.m. PT (19:31 UTC) for a Falcon 9 launch of 51 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. If needed, there is an additional launch opportunity the same day at 3:29 p.m. PT (23:29 UTC). Backup opportunities are also available on Tuesday, February 28 at 11:18 a.m. PT (19:18 UTC) and 3:15 p.m. PT (23:15 UTC).

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched Crew-1, Crew-2, SXM-8, CRS-23, IXPE, Transporter-4, Transporter-5, Globalstar FM15, ISI EROS C-3 and two Starlink missions. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff.

Scorpius the tug left port this morning, making 4 knots for Guadalupe Island.  ETA is Tuesday 2/28 noon.  Right now, looks to be headed for Catalina, maybe to hang in the lee for a bit.  It's still raining and blowing and the sea state is high.

Look for this launch to slip a couple of days.

CelesTrak has the pre-launch SupGP data for the #Starlink Group 2-7 launch from Vandenberg SFB set for 2023-02-27 at 19:34:20 UTC. Deployment of 51 satellites is planned for 19:49:47.140 UTC: https://celestrak.org/NORAD/elements/supplemental/. Data for this launch can be found at: https://celestrak.org/NORAD/elements/supplemental/table.php?FILE=starlink-g2-7.

Edit: It appears this is the Starlink Group 6-1 data, as Group 2 missions should be going to a 70° orbit, not to a 43° listed here.

@NASA and @SpaceX scrubbed today's launch of the #Crew6 mission to the @Space_Station due to a ground systems issue.

Unfavorable weather on Feb.28 makes the next launch attempt 12:34am ET March 2, pending resolution of the technical issue.

go.nasa.gov/3Y34NBY

… but Crew-6 isn’t launching until (NET) Thursday 3/2 so this should still be on for tomorrow, pending improved weather.
What kind of wastrels would dump a perfectly good booster in the ocean after just one use?

I am attempting to verify the data and launch inclination with SpaceX now (realizing they are pretty busy today). But the SupGP data is generated by copying and pasting the data they send directly into our software, which propagates it and then fits it with SGP4.

Can someone explain what are the shared dependencies that would force a reschedule of the starlink launch if Crew-6 goes ahead as currently scheduled?

I can understand the logic for that, but me thinks the logic does not hold up to analysis.

100 launches is aspiration, but you're speaking WAY too early. They're still on the exponential curve for 100 launches (linear makes no sense). Noise here and there is expected. (Maybe you want one of those classic johnsmith frowny faces ;) )

Looks like this is getting delayed until after Crew-6

Another of the thousand cuts that may spell the death of the 100-launch aspiration.
100 launches is aspiration, but you're speaking WAY too early. They're still on the exponential curve for 100 launches (linear makes no sense). Noise here and there is expected. (Maybe you want one of those classic johnsmith frowny faces ;) )

And if you want to follow - we are tracking it here:

https://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=58240.0

compared to last year...looks about the same against the goal.  But early days obvioulsy.

Online Galactic Penguin SST

https://www.spacex.com/launches/mission/?missionId=sl2-7 now shows the launch has slipped by a few hours to 2:50 pm Pacific = 22:50 UTC.

Stage 1 to stage 2 mass ratio is too high on Falcon 9, necessitating a long entry burn. This is fixed on Starship.
