Creotech Instruments SA, which is the main manufacturer of the EagleEye satellite, is very happy with the successful launch of its satellite! "The EagleEye satellite is the first fully designed and built satellite in Poland".

https://creotech.pl/notice/eagleeye-microsatellite-system/: "The satellite (EagleEye) will provide a resolution of 1 m. The resolution will be achieved thanks to the development of an optical telescope, stabilization system, satellite placement in a very low orbit (use of propulsion). The telescope will be placed on the platform, with components now in development under HyperSat programm. These components will be moved to TRL9. The satellite will be around 40x40x50 cm and weigh up to 50 kg."

LAUNCH SUCCESS!

We’ve made contact with the Tanager-1 satellite & our SuperDoves in orbit!🛰️ Thx @SpaceX for the ride!🚀

What a milestone! Thank you to @carbonmapper & @NASAJPL for your collaboration to make the Tanager-1 mission a reality. Its an incredible California success story -- a CA instrument on a CA satellite on a CA rocket for a CA customer! Excited to reveal CO2 & methane emissions from space with it.

And with @Planet now having 400 spectral band imagery, we look forward to exploring myriad other use cases with our partners globally!

Mission success!

We are so thrilled to share that our first hyperspectral satellite Tanager-1 successfully launched into orbit and made contact with our team.

With Tanager-1 in orbit, we’ve expanded our capabilities, capturing phenomena that are invisible to the human eye, and helping to reveal greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere.

With 36 SuperDoves, we aim to replenish our extensive PlanetScope constellation, capturing a near-daily scan of planet Earth.

🛰️PHISAT-2 UPDATE🛰️

✅Launch
✅Orbital placement
✅First contact

@Open_Cosmos is thrilled to confirm its latest satellite launch has achieved all three milestones 🎉

Approximately one hour after launch, we received confirmation of the successful deployment of Phisat-2 from the deployer. Contact was made over Svalbard ground station and the flight team has started downloading telemetry nominally.

Today marks our tenth launch with a 100% success rate in orbit. This amazing achievement is down to the dedication and expertise of our teams, and we extend our gratitude to everyone who played a part in making this mission a triumph, including @ESA_EO, @Ubotica, CEiiA, GEO-Kco, @CGI_Global, IRT, @thales_alenia_s, Simera and KP-Labs. 🎉👍🚀

About the same time as this video from the UK.

Space enthusiasts/astronomers of X/Twitter or anywhere - any ideas what this bright descending object from 22:47 - 22:50 BST was over Herne Bay, Kent descending from the zenith to the horizon to the north. I'd punt a guess and say it's something to do with a rocket?

My estimate is stage 2 deorbit burn around 2150 UTC over the North Sea with impact in Pacific Ocean around 2215 UTC near 173W 12N.
