Together, we will realize the dream of building a strong aerospace country and make it a beautiful national science and technology city.
As the eighth "China Aerospace Day" is approaching, on April 13, the "Mianyang Constellation" press conference and the launch ceremony of the first star "Fucheng No. 1" were held in the 5G and Satellite Application Science and Technology Park of China (Mianyang) Science and Technology City .
At the expedition ceremony, the "Mianyang Constellation" was officially released. The first Sichuan-made SAR remote sensing satellite - "Fucheng No. 1" went to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. , Fucheng Satellite Fucheng Made".
Chasing Dreams, Mianyang Creates a "Star" Network
The Chinese people have endless imagination and unremitting exploration of the vast universe. From Chang'e's flight to the moon to the lunar exploration project, from the flying of thousands of households to manned spaceflight, China's spaceflight has changed from a thousand-year dream to a reality of the times.
Today, Mianyang has once again taken a crucial step to inquire about the sky and explore space.
After the "Mianyang Constellation" took off, what exactly did it do? In layman's terms, it is to take pictures in space and use the obtained information for global land use, marine environment, emergency response, geological disasters, water conservancy and agricultural monitoring, forest fire prevention, urban security and other fields.
According to reports, after the "Mianyang Constellation" is completed and put into use, it can achieve high-frequency coverage of sub-meter-level high-resolution images, especially for areas with poor climate conditions, fragile natural ecology, frequent geological disasters, and serious shortage of satellite remote sensing data. Provide global data on emergency rescue, pre-disaster early warning, and comprehensive urban perception.
Looking at the sea of stars beyond the sky, "Fucheng No. 1" set off into space as the first star of the "Mianyang Constellation"! "Fucheng No. 1" is equipped with InSAR interferometric imaging function, which can realize the monitoring of millimeter-scale deformation of the surface.
What special skills does "Fucheng No. 1" have? The total weight of the satellite is 300kg, the highest resolution is 1m×0.5m, and its performance index has reached the international advanced level of C-band light and small SAR remote sensing satellites. Belt and scan multiple modes to meet the needs of different application scenarios.
