Awww. Poor Suni.
Although, I gotta say, she's gonna be sorry with that still up there. ;)

The Weather Channel is now teasing a story that weather is threatening
two landing sites for Friday. Are they just hyping their own subject matter?

For the East Coast flyover one hour after sep, do we know which will be in front? They will only be completing their fly-around.
Undock is CST 4:09, Sep 1 burn 4:38, and sep-2 at 5:06 CST -- so the plume might even be visible to ground observers.

Hi Jim,
4:38 CST is now the flyaround start time and SEP-1 is around 5:01 CST. SEP-1 is a 1.5 fps orbiter +X burn on the -Vbar (i.e. radial down) that will take the orbiter below and in front of ISS at SEP-2. Of course, those times are entirely dependent on how fast BillyO flies the Vbar sep. If SEP-1 occurs at the planned time, at undock+1 hour the orbiter will be right around the +Rbar crossing at a range of around 1400 ft.  That's an angular separation of less than 4 arcminutes at 190 nmi, if I did the math right. A ground observer might not be able to separate them if directly below the groundtrack, but an observer off to the side might be able to, with sufficiently powerful optics.

Well check that out.  That's really cool.  And I thought it was just a joke item in the manifest.

Weather Channel is like any other TV news and will dress up a story to make it "interesting."  Follow the weather facts here - they will tell the whole story!!!

And me. :)

Anyway, I think Suni donated (besides her hair) her socks to Thomas (also per the flight manifest.) ;)

A little from column A and a little from column B :)

Rob started a weather thread:

The latest SMG forecast I saw for Friday carries concerns for ceiling and showers at KSC and also concerns for crosswinds at Edwards.
