might be a jig/tool support for original ground handling, looks to have a main "hole" and 2 smaller indentations.

Without any views of it "clean" in the last few months or so, I'd say it's more likely it's been "dinged" sometime over the 6 years it's been in orbit...

It doesn't have any camera lens debris on it, does it?  ;)

5 hours, 34 minutes into the EVA...SSRMS taking Beamer to APFR egress position...Christer is going to try to get closeout photos during the night pass...

Quick question, once dexter (the Canada hand) is attached to the SSRMS will it be able to do these kind of tasks without having to rely on space walking astronauts?
