Is this conceivably enough that, assuming they get the other arrays retracted on 13A, they could just move it as-is to the end of the port truss? Is 100% retraction an absolute must to enable P6 to be moved?
100% is a must on both the 4B and 2B SAWs.

I believe that's what ISS program management has said.

Mark

Yeah, it absolutely is.  Or so they're saying.  But no matter, they'll get that thing retracted.   :)

Yes both arrays must be retracted and locked in their blanket boxes before the P6 arrays can be moved to the end of P5 during STS-120. If the arrays are still extended, there are concerns that the masts could bend and break as the SSRMS moves the P6 to be installed beside P5.

Wow, we're moving now.  Aft array is a little sticky but clears itself.

Go for a Christer-shake and twice if needed.

One more "Swedish shake" by Christer saves the day.

Who's betting that they'll have spacewalkers out there when they retract the other array?

Retract to one bay...good motion...stopped.  Christer wants to shake...go for two attempts, three cycles each.
