Interesting the different wave motion with the shorter arrays...

I take it the cafeteria at JSC will soon be serving "Beamer Shakes"...

If I'm counting right we're somewhere around 4-6 bays to go!

Another triple shake from Christer...assessing...Beamer says it's getting better with every shake on his side.  Asking for more shaking.

An English shake from Christer...I don't think that was part of the experiment, but not as good as the other motion...nice wide shot right now..

Beamer is go for retracting another bay on his side...more bunching on the forward/zenith array (other side)...recommending another shake, this time five of them (not sure about English, German, or Swedish).

You can really see the progress they made on the wide shot. I suppose it's about 7 bays left now?
I always consider space to be the FIRST frontier.

IV thinks it would be good for Christer to go over to the other array to shake that one directly...on his way...

With the array nearly retracted it's easy to see why they count the number of mast bays versus counting the number of solar array panels.

Crew thinks a retract is OK...Beamer thinks the aft blanket is go and IV thinks forward blanket is OK...

Single bay retract...good motion...aborting.  Christer reporting a possible hang up on the forward inboard wire...Houston doesn't think shaking is going to help as much where they are now.  Beamer reporting something on the aft outboard.  Beamer going to manually clear his.

"I think we have retracted 3 bays this EVA and we are starting another retract now, so we are at either 7 or 8 bays left now. "

Not counting setup time, this is not a hopeful rate to get done by end of suit lifetime, unless the rate gets a lot better towards the end -- and there's hope for that, to be sure. But are we facing the prospect of not being able to finish, and need to go out again tomorrow?
