New NOTAM indicates the CERES-1 Y4 launch, mission YOUNG FOR YOU, is scheduled NET NOV.15. An airspace area over Indian Ocean is reserved from 22:00 to 02:00UTC daily from Nov.15 to Nov.19. Again, the NOTAM mistakes south latitude for north, which was pointed out by @OrbitalFocus

On November 16, Jiemian News learned that at 14:20, Galaxy Power successfully launched the Ceres-1 (Yao-4) carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and successfully transferred the high-score 03D08, 51, 52, 03D08, 51, 52, 53 and 54, a total of five satellites were sent into sun-synchronous orbit.

This is the fourth consecutive successful launch of the Ceres 1 commercial rocket. So far, Galaxy Power has maintained a 100% success rate, and has completed 14 satellite launches for seven satellite customers, setting a new record for China's private commercial rocket launch delivery.

Galaxy Power stated that this is the first time that a domestic low-orbit constellation uses private commercial rockets for network launch, which has promoted the ecological and healthy development of the domestic commercial aerospace industry and is of milestone significance.

The five satellites of Jilin-1 carried by the Ceres-1 (Yao-4) carrier rocket this time are all third-generation optical remote sensing satellites independently developed and mass-produced by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. Gaofen 02D star and Jilin No. 1 Gaofen 02F star are in network operation, which can provide users with remote sensing satellite images.

In this launch, Galaxy Power used a self-developed transfer launch vehicle for the first time to perform transfer and launch tasks.

The transfer launch vehicle has functions such as environmental temperature control, motorized transport, and rapid erection launch, which can further reduce the requirements for pre-launch support in the launch area, greatly shorten the launch preparation time from four hours to one hour, and effectively solve the problem of rocket launch. The problems of long preparation time and low launch frequency provide ground support for the mass launch delivery of the Ceres-1 commercial rocket.

On September 7, the Galaxy Power official Weibo said that the acceptance test of the Ceres-1 commercial rocket transfer launch vehicle was completed, and all indicators of the launch vehicle met the requirements and were ready for delivery.

Three months ago, Galaxy Power just sent the Ceres-1 (Yao-3) carrier rocket into space and launched three commercial satellites. The company said at the time that this marked that Ceres-1 had taken the lead in entering the stage of large-scale commercial launch delivery of private rockets.

Founded in February 2018, Galaxy Power is one of the top private rocket companies in China. The Ceres No. 1 launch vehicle is a four-stage light commercial launch vehicle independently developed by the company. The first, second, and third stages use solid power, and the fourth stage uses integrated liquid power for orbit control and attitude control. It can provide satellite customers at home and abroad with tiny Customized launch services for satellites.

The carrier rocket has a diameter of 1.4 meters, a total length of about 20 meters, a take-off weight of about 33 tons, and a maximum capacity of 300 kilograms in a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit. The fourth stage of the rocket adopts an integrated design of overall, structure and power.

On December 7 last year, Galaxy Power successfully launched the Ceres-1 (Yao-2) carrier rocket, sending five commercial satellites into a 500km sun-synchronous orbit. As a result, Galaxy Power achieved the first consecutive successful launches by a domestic private rocket company, and the first commercial launch of multiple satellites with one rocket.

In 2020, Galaxy Power completed the A-round financing of 200 million yuan. At the beginning of the year, the company announced that it had completed a total of 1.27 billion yuan in B and B+ rounds of financing. The financing will be used to accelerate the research and development of the medium and large reusable liquid oxygen/kerosene launch vehicle "Zhishenxing-1" and related infrastructure construction.
