Lull before the Starship storm! Ship 25 destacked, but hopefully only for a short time ahead of the second test flight.Video from Sean Doherty (@SeanKD_Photos) and Starbase Live. Edited by Thomas Hayden (@_thomashayden).
Hot Staging Ring removed from Booster 9.nsf.live/starbase
For context, this allows better access to the top of the booster and they reinstalled it and placed Ship back on top in about a day last time.

Starship update as we wait for the return of the full stack and a potential WDR (Wet Dress Rehearsal). Ryan Weber (@rweb11742) covers this and multiple future vehicles waiting their turn at Starbase:

Down she comes. This is half a day after SpaceX tweeted the next step was a launch rehearsal (WDR). So something has changed today.
Ship 25 was lifted onto Booster 9 for less than a day before SpaceX decided to destack the Ship, potentially to fix some issues. It is unclear when the vehicles will be restacked.youtube.com/watch?v=IeL_pl…Video from Sean Doherty (@SeanKD_Photos), Jack Beyer (@thejackbeyer), and Starbase Live. Update Oct. 18: Added date that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service received the final biological assessment from the Federal Aviation Administration.
In a statement on Tuesday, a FWS spokesperson said their agency received a final biological assessment from the FAA Oct. 5 and FWS has up to 30 days to review it. This came after the FAA sent FWS a letter in August, which requested “reinitiation of Endangered Species Act consultation.”
A NOTMAR for launch ops off the coast of Starbase has been issued for November 1st. While this does not indicate they have a license, this is certainly promising news considering the articles about the push from SpX for a license soon.https://www.navcen.uscg.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/lnms/lnm0842g2023.pdf
