Note the changed QD arm. It was raised to accommodate an extension to the booster (starting with Booster 9) for hot staging. A ring with vents will be attached before flight. #Starbase

It's not mentioned here yet, but in the NSF live stream I heard mention that the (upper) methane tank was first being loading with nitrogen, not methane, and that the detanking now happening was to take out the nitrogen, presumably for imminent replacement with methane.  I only stopped in briefly so if I misheard, please correct!

Next up should be the Spin Prime and Static Fire test milestones. The latter will be of great interest as it'll involve the new steel plate water deluge system.

Booster 9, in testing for the next test flight, was filled to the brim with propellant to ensure all systems are working before SpaceX static fires all 33 Raptor engines.

San Antonio Express News:

"Three months after SpaceX’s first Starship launch ended in a fiery explosion over the Gulf of Mexico, the company hasn’t submitted its final accident report to the Federal Aviation Administration, signaling that the next-generation rocket program remains grounded and is unlikely to attempt a second launch this summer.

The FAA, which is overseeing an investigation into the April 20 launch, said Wednesday it was still awaiting the report it needs to identify corrective actions SpaceX must take to get the OK to launch again from Boca Chica.

An FAA spokesperson declined to speculate when the agency’s investigation might be completed, saying that “public safety and actions yet to be taken by SpaceX will dictate the timeline."

If you want to read the whole article and not deal with the San Antonio Express paywall you can try here - https://www.aviationpros.com/aircraft/news/53067337/no-starship-launch-soon-faa-says-as-investigations-including-spacexs-own-are-still-incomplete

Seems like a local San Antonio reporter called the FAA and got the PR office. The spokesperson gave him the current status which he then tried to turn into a headline. Nothing really new that I could see,

The Dancefloor has been raised under Booster 9.

This is the platform used to work on the underneath of the booster while on the OLM. It's also used to work on the clamps and other OLM hardware with or without a booster.

The Orbital Launch Site today via Jack (@thejackbeyer) after hiring a flight over Starbase.

Hopefully the Spin Prime and Static Fire tests - and this time with the water deluge system in play - are days away!

Full video of the launch site and production site coming out soon.

Yes... that's not SPMTs but...
Ship 25's aft flaps have just closed and will be latched for a lift off Pad B and later transportation. It seems likely that both Ship 25 and Ship 28 will head back to the Build Site during tomorrow's testing closure.
