Halfway into September, there are two more launches confirmed: Long March 2D from Jiuquan on Sep. 20, Long March 6 from Taiyuan NET Sep.24. There'll also be one from Xichang, probably.

It seems we'll see Long March 2D launch another group of Yaogan-35 on Sep. 27 at ~13:10 UTC, as hinted by the previous mission patch collage.

Today is launch day in China too, Long March 2D from Jiuquan at ~23:15 UTC.

In addition, Long March 6 from Taiyuan NET Sep.24.

Bothe the satellite Yunhai-1-03 and rocket Long March 2D Y76 were built by SAST. According to the press release, the launch preparation only took 11 days at Jiuquan launch site, the least for Long March 2D..

China launches new satellite for environment detection

JIUQUAN, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- China sent a new satellite into planned orbit from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China's Gobi Desert on Wednesday.

The Yunhai-1 03 satellite was launched at 7:15 a.m. (Beijing Time) on a Long March-2D carrier rocket.

The satellite will be mainly used for detecting the atmospheric, marine and space environments, disaster prevention and mitigation, and scientific experiments.

The launch marked the 438th mission for the Long March rocket family.

As of YH-1 03, on Sep 26 it achieved the 783 km height orbit at the same position which YH-1 01 held until Sep 15.
