Astronauts on orbit Mark Vande Hei

If the Russians carry thru with the threat to leave Mark Vande Hei in orbit..
Can SpaceX refit the next Dragon to launch with 5 seats how long would it take??
Or would it have launch with 3 Astronauts to bring Vanda Hei home??
