Our crew completed their first week of EVA training, practicing maneuvers necessary to move in and out of Dragon during a spacewalk. They also reviewed development of EVA technology and lessons learned from the last 50 years..

Today was incredible… got to pull 7 G’s in an Alpha Jet with @KiddPoteet at the @PolarisProgram Fighter Jet Training weekend. Even got some stick time and it was incredible!!! Video coming out soon, including how and why @rookisaacman trains his commercial astronauts.

Three people who have never been to space are set to travel farther up there than any human has gone in 50 years. Tech billionaire Jared Isaacman is leading the mission. @MorganLBrennan got an invite to Isaacman’s private hangar in Bozeman, Montana.

Oh, the participants must be so bummed about the delay. Honestly guys, if one of you wants out I will be happy to take your place!

Wonder what happened?

Not that a delay is surprising at all, but it looked like things were moving quickly just recently.

My guess is that the EVA suits isn't quite ready for this year. Needs a bit more tweaking.

That does seem really likely... I was just expecting a suit-related delay would have been announced earlier since they were already doing training last week.

(IE, I fully expected a suit-related delay, but was beginning to doubt that once they got to the training phase.)

It could mean a bunch of other things, like readiness of the Starlink direct laser comms system or the vacuum stability of the interior, etc.

This sounds like it might be the mysterious second Dragon mission we've been hearing about as part of the Polaris program?

I would think of a bona fide NASA mission study.

Servicing of Hubble with a Dragon, using the suits developed for Polaris Dawn ?
