Space is now mainstream - LEGO proof
« on: 12/29/2021 07:09 am »
In the previous century - two of the major LEGO themes were "Town" (present-time: gas station, police station, post office, cars, trucks, bakery, road plates, etc.) and "Space" (lunokhods, spaceships, giant moving bases, stationary bases, crater plates, spaceport plates, etc.)

They were two separate universes. The Present and the Future (together with the Past - Castle theme).

Now there is no Space theme. Instead there are Shuttle sets, SLS sets, ISS sets, Apollo sets, Lunar Gateway sets - as part of the "City" theme! The SLS is just like a post office - not a SciFi-like "out of this world" thing! It's normal, just one of the various things the people in the city have.

Does it mean that now the time of the future came and it's our present?
