Now slipped to Tuesday, December 13 per the Alaska Aerospace / PSCA website and the FAA ATCSCC Current Operations Plan.  The FAA TFR is still the one that started today.

The Alaska Aerospace / PSCA website has been updated as well.  It no longer has a range of dates.  December 14 is it.  Either launch or get a new launch period arranged for.

What's with these slips? Range availability?

ABL filed another FCC permit for the launch starting when the old one expires on Jan. 1, probably prudent since they're so close to the other one running out.

Most likely vehicle readiness.  They scrubbed Friday due to a vehicle issue.  Id guess that they are still resolving it.

FCC licenses are kind of Agnostic.  They tend to last for ~6 months.  So this could just be standard form to reup.  We did it all the time.

At T-6m in Thursday’s terminal count, we observed unexpected electrical interference in our avionics system. The issue has only presented during live propellant ops, not dry vehicle testing or in the lab. This indicates a thermoelectrical or thermomechanical root cause.

The team is implementing fixes and working towards a launch attempt during our next launch window opening on January 9th.

A new Launch Closure Flyer has already been posted.

https://akaerospace.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/PSCA-P139-A-Launch-Closure-Flyer.pdf

Alaska Aerospace will open the launch window from 09 January – 13 January & 30 January – 01 February 2023 . Launch attempts will take place within a three and a half hour window beginning at 1:00 PM local.

It’s likely the launch could be postponed, or “scrubbed”, multiple times to allow for minor rocket adjustments or adverse weather conditions to subisde (e.g., winds, heavy rain/snow).

Team has polled GO for vertical raise. T0 remains at 13:00 AKST (22:00 UTC). Winds are light, but the meteorology team is tracking moderate risk of triggered lightning due to low clouds.

ABL getting ready to launch today. Hopefully the weather looks good and they get off the pad this time.

ASA "livestream" of the launch. Basically, they just stream the ABL twitter page, but they are fun to watch.
