📍Reusability: Our team has started flight tests for a 3.6m tall RLV demonstrator powered by a hybrid rocket engine. In our second attempt, the vehicle showed stable vertical take-off and landing, marking a significant initial milestone.
The RLV demonstrator achieved stable flight, reaching a maximum altitude of 6.3 m, maintaining control accuracy within 0.3 m, and landing at a speed below 0.5 m/s.
This test provided validation for the performance of the targeted propulsion system, control system, trajectory optimality, and landing speed.
As we progress, the flight envelope for the reusable launch vehicle demonstrator will be gradually extended. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting journey! Thanks to our consortium partners: KAIST, Korea Aerospace University, and Cheongju University.#RLV #ReusableRocket
