Congratulations, #Inspiration4! With today's splashdown, you've helped demonstrate that low-Earth orbit is open for business.
GO Searcher and Dragon are inbound Port Canaveral.
Best ride of my life! Thank you @SpaceX and @elonmusk! @inspiration4x
Nothing but #gratitude!! Thank you to everyone who helped make our mission a success and supported us through this historic journey. 😊👩🏾🚀🚀🌏🐉@inspiration4x @SpaceX #Space2inspire
Talking with Bono from space! 🤯 @U2 has been my favorite band since the Joshua Tree tour back in the 80s. and Beautiful Day was me & @ArceneauxHayley’s launch day drive to the pad song! Our conversation from space was a very special moment for me. 😊👩🏾🚀🚀🌏🐉 @inspiration4x
We loved space but it’s great to be home! 🌎 Incredible news on @elonmusk donation and surpassing the 200m goal for @StJude. Let’s keep it going! 🚀 On behalf of @inspiration4x - thank you all for the support and thanks to @SpaceX for bringing us home safe! Keep changing the 🌎
This brings tears to my eyes. Thank you @elonmusk for this generous donation toward our $200 million dollar fundraising goal for @StJude!!!
What an amazing adventure! I’m so glad to be home on earth and to be back with my family. There is so much to share! What an amazing @inspiration4x team! Thanks @SpaceX!
Welcome home Inspiration4!! 🚀✨
SpX is having a post-splashdown press conference. Scott Poteet is on the recovery boat and says the crew is having a good time, walking around, in great spirits. #Inspiration4
SpX's Benji Reed-this mission was awesome, how little issues we had. Couple issues with waste mgmt system, temp sensor in Draco engine but was double redundant so no risk. Have new Crew Dragon sc coming up.
SpX's Reed and Todd "Leif" Ericson say how often the hatch was open to expose the cupola was up to the crew except that it was closed during sleep time and had to be closed to use the restroom due to space constraints.
Ericson: waste mgmt issue was with the fan. SpX team came up with a backup plan and "my hat's off to them."
Ericson: had enuf propellant on board to extend for 2 more days if necessary even though went to a slightly higher orbit.
Reed: this crew was super trained. In future crews wlll have to be appropriately trained to keep themselves safe and the public safe. Depends on what they know already. Long term goal is to be like airline travel--buy a ticket and go.
Ericson (who is Inspiration4's mission director): cupola was huge success. Exceeded expectations optically. Flawless. This mission is opening of second space age. Can't overstate impt of making diff here on Earth too -- pls contribute to St Jude.End of presser.
Benji Reed says, in the wake of Inspiration4, the number of people approaching SpaceX about orbital flights is increasing significantly. I know they're already negotiating for missions three years from now. I'd expect demand greatly exceeds supply.
In response to a question about Crew Dragon capacity for free-flyer missions, Benji Reed says they will look at scaling up Dragon options. Also mentions Starship is "on the horizon," and that vehicle will be able to take a lot more people into space at a time.

#Inspiration4 capsule Resilience returned about 3am after its historic 3 day orbit of the earth with 4 civilian (now astronaut) passengers. The capsule landed off the coast of Cape Canaveral @ 7:06pm EDT. The crew were unloaded on to Go Searcher & are all doing well back at #NASA

Our #Inspiration4 crew took many amazing photos in space during their three-day mission, including this out-of-this-world selfie!Jared, Hayley, Sian, and Chris are back home on Earth, but our team is still fundraising for @StJude. Join that effort: inspiration4.com/donate
We accomplished all of our on-orbit objectives but the most emotional point for me was shortly after splashdown when we learned we surpassed our @StJude fundraising goal. On behalf of @inspiration4x and to all the supporters of our mission - Thank you!
Very cool! 1062 took great care of us and the launch photos are incredible. One of the first calls we made shortly after we arrived on orbit, was to make sure 1062 made it back safely to the drone ship. We are looking forward to watching her future missions.
Wednesday in the suit up room: “Gimme that!” *rip*Saturday, back on Earth: “Hey Snap, here ya go man.”Hard to put into words how much I appreciate this. Thank you, @rookisaacman.
It was our pleasure Snap! Thanks for being such an important part of the @inspiration4x team and a good friend.
I've had several questions about why there are no photos of Inspiration4 after orbit. It's a private mission, and their choice. Families are in regular contact and all is well. There will be some events. The video will eventually show up on Netflix. But this is not NASA, folks.
The actual answer is that we only had so many ground station passes to transmit video. NASA and other government users are going to get priority. I suspect a lot of footage will be released shortly. We had quite a few cameras on board.
