Cross-post:
According to the video a Sylda type object should also be found in orbit
From that post on the first Yaogan-32 pair, an adapter will remain in orbit together with the two satellites. About how long will it take for its orbit to decay so that it reenters?

Looking at the search, the first post that has the info included that I can find was posted 11min after T-0 so looks like there was an accidental premature data release
https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4680995238052094cctv military also sent out a post but that has since been deleted (someone else got a screenshot of it)

And the same launch time on September 14 has passed without notice.

Is it possible to be sure a launch did *not* take place? Could an early failure have been covered up under the new rules?

In terms of publicly available information, perhaps someone has already commissioned imagery of Jiuquan?
It wouldn't answer all possibilities, but it would answer some.

The intelligence community routinely monitors launch sites via multiple assets and early warning satellites detect launches.

Yes, but they do not routinely announce their observations!

A rumor has surfaced that the rocket had a mechanical problem with a valve, which clearly delayed the launch, and that this delay could have affected the launch of the LZ-1A rocket that was scheduled for September 18.

Is there a chance the payload and rocket were removed from the pad?

If you are referring to the rumor, I don't know, if it is true that there is a problem with a valve I suppose they will do their best to fix it on the platform, but if they don't manage to do so, it may be necessary to lower the payload, although I don't know if this is possible on the CZ-2C/YZ-1S.

Depends if any membranes on the rocket from attempted fuel and oxidizer load need replacing if there was indeed an attempt.

The one from the 24th August launch wasn't catalogued, but it apparently survived three orbits with a perigee around 100 km before decaying over Africa. Seem to recall you discussing this.
