The last (and only) time I read this series was nearly fifty years ago.  And the series was over twenty years old even then.

Based on first two, not terrible, but quite heavily adapted. Will watch more, but expectations are... somewhat diminished.

This looks mildly interesting, it's not too exciting but let's face it, the original novel is not a page turner either.

This looks mildly interesting, it's not too exciting but let's face it, the original novel is not a page turner either.

To each his own, but the Foundation trilogy was my favorite sci-fi epic when I read it for the first time in college back in the 70s, and it still stands up well.  The follow-on novels, not so much.
Aviation/space enthusiast, retired control system SW engineer, doesn't know anything!
