STS-120 mission insignia
« on: 11/21/2006 03:32 pm »
Hi folks,

I found that in the latest ISS Update by ESA. Is that the STS-120 mission insignia (lower left of the picture)?

Video can be found here:

Here an image of the original ASCAN 1998 patch (note that there are 15 stars on the left and 16 on the right, some remake patches have the number of stars wrong).

Never knew that each class had its own insignia. Are there more of these around for the other classes?  Could be its own thread even  I guess

They used to post them on the Astronaut Bio web page, I am not sure why they are no longer there.

From 1978 on every ASCAN class  has its own patch...

I think in addition there is the official one and the unofficial one. I saw the Sardines one once... which indeed featured sardines.

Yep. Those links back to your(TJL) harddrive only. You must upload them somewhere or we won't be able to see them.

those links are posting to your "my documents" folder which noone can get to.  There is a check box that allows you to upload pictures to a post here, but there is a file size limit
