This was originally planned for November 2022 but it looks like the launch slipped to early 2023:
Axiom will follow Ax-1 with Ax-2, slated for launch in early 2023 and commanded by former NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson. Axiom has named one customer, John Shoffner, who will be the pilot of the vehicle, but has not identified who else will go on the mission.

https://twitter.com/jeff_foust/status/1530533821690552320Ax-1 was an “extremely busy” but also “spectacularly successful” mission, say Axiom Space’s @DittmarML at #ISDC2022 this morning. Have been in lessons-learned meetings with NASA since then and already held first meeting for Ax-2 mission.

This week marks a year since we proudly announced @AstroPeggy as the commander and @johnpshoffner as the pilot for #Ax2.
We look forward to seeing these leaders continue Axiom's efforts to expand access to live and work in space and enable new research in microgravity.

Turkey starts search for astronaut for its first human space mission [May 24]
The Turkish astronaut should be ready by the end of the year and is expected to embark on the journey as early as the first half of 2023.
The candidate will conduct scientific experiments during their 10-day stay at the International Space Station, the Industry and Technology Ministry said in a statement.
<snip>
Applications will be accepted until June 23, 2022.

Will a Turkish astronaut really fly to the ISS with Dragon? And is it supposed to take place in the Ax-2 mission, as indicated by the thread this post has been inserted into? And not in Soyuz as previously announced?

Going the Soyuz route requires the Turks to pay the Russians. Which is a bit difficult to do with the current geo-political situation.

Many countries still pay Russia for oil, such as Germany, and few countries have trouble with that. So Turkey won't have it either.

Might go beyond money. You have the fact that Turkey is supplying Ukraine some of it's most effective weapons. Turkey also closed the Bosporus and Dardanelles straits to Russian warships.

Of course, you are right. I was just wondering if this thread is really appropriate for the post about the flight of an astronaut from Turkey. Is his participation in Ax-2 really being considered?

There aren't all that many options in the first half of next year.

#Ax2 Commander @AstroPeggy is living proof:
➡️ First female commander of the ISS
➡ First female non-military Chief of the Astronaut Office
➡ More spacewalk time than any other female astronaut in the world
➡️ Most days living & working in space amongst US crew members

#Ax1 was a successful and important first step to help us learn how NASA, SpaceX and Axiom can best work together. First steps can be tricky, but we are proud of what we have accomplished and now I'm looking forward to supporting @Astro_Peggy and the crew of #Ax2!
