This NOTAM and the positioning of the Yuan Wang 6 tracking ship between Java Island, Indonesia and Western Australia in recent days are interesting because the positioning implies something to be launched from Jiuquan towards a ~63 degrees inclination orbit (the zone above seems to be similar to those for the NOSS-type YG-31-02 to 04, but has subtle differences, and is too far north on the same longitude when compared with the zones for SJ-16-02 at 75 degrees inclination), however the placement of YW-6 is to the west of its usual position for 63.4 deg. launches.

The use of tracking ships seems to imply CZ-4C but this is not secure either, anything from 2C, 2D, 4B can't be ruled out. Heck I can't even rule out yet another "thingy with wings" flight on CZ-2F if it's a long one!

Anyone here who would like to analyse this?

The NOTAMed area (in red below) seems close to that for YG31 G02 & 03 (in white below) with CZ-4C
A launch of a YG31 G05 group with CZ-4C seems thus possible.

Yeah, the placement of Yuan Wang 6 makes people wonder if this is launched towards SSO with dogleg involved.

This is the first LM-4 series rocket to use the 4 m diameter fairing at Jiuquan.

There's an observation of what looks like rocket stage venting in New South Wales, Australia ~30 minutes after launch, which fits with this launch and supports the original theory of it in a ~60 deg. inclination LEO.

Doesn't look like a standard "optical remote sensing satellite" at this stage..
Yaogan-34 is now in the same plane with same altitude as the Yaogan-31 Group02 triplet

Thermal insulation panels on the rocket and fairing exterior. You can also find similar panels (though not as that much) on older Ariane 1-4 rockets.
