Starship 3d Solid Model
« on: 10/17/2020 04:40 pm »
I have been super inspired by the rapid progress down in Boca Chica, and I love watching the daily build videos. Like many, I've had quite a bit of time on my hands this year, so recently I've decided to start building my own SN5 in 3d. I would not have been able to do this without all the great photo/video content available here on the forums.

Here's a quick output of some views of the first section I've built; the Thrust Dome or Thrust Puck from SN5. There's no way it's exactly spot on, but it's as close as I could get it without actually having measurements for specific features. Some things are thicker than they would be to scale, as I'm planning to 3d print this eventually.

It's been a bit difficult to reconcile all of the features from various photos, but I've tried to represent an accurate rendition of SN5. If anything is blatantly wrong or out of place, please let me know!

Hope someone finds it's interesting ;)
