Fleet Leader Falcon 9 B1049.7 has arrived into Port Canaveral.

Epic views on NSF Fleet Cam of the extra sooty booster, under the firm hold of Octagrabber - and even Ms. Tree gave them a sail past!

Seven times flown. SEVEN!

This time last year, I think the most a single #Falcon9 booster had flown was, what, 3 or 4?

Imagine what next year will bring. Will B1049 be the first to cross the 10-flight line? It will have to compete with the likes of B1051, which has 6 flights.

Seven flights to space — and back.

Here’s a closeup look at Falcon 9 B1049, the new Falcon fleet leader.

Fleetcam is going to want a bonus today. Now we're getting to see the recovered fairings being lifted. Getting the boosters back is huge, but the fairings cost millions of bucks, so also a big deal.

So thanks to the footage and photos from today, we can see one of the fairing halves has two water symbols and the other has one water symbol. Those indicate the number of times that particular fairing was recovered after landing in the ocean.

From that we can determine that the first half is either from Starlink v1.0 L6 or L10 while the other could be from L7 or GPS-SV03.

But because the "newer" L8 fairings had been reflown earlier on L13, it's possible the L6 and L7 fairings were skipped due to some damage or for other reasons, which would make L10/GPS-3 the more likely options.

It really sucks that SpaceX stopped specifying which missions the fairings previously flew on...

scr00chy and I just determined that the active half on this mission (opposite the strongback) previously flew Amos-17 and Starlink L6. Due to this half having the double ocean landing markings, it cannot be the half that few Starlink L10, because that active half was caught in Ms. Tree's net 2x before.

That still leaves the other half as being from Starlink L7 or GPS SV03. A reuse of either half would be within the fairing turnaround times we have seen from SpaceX, so for now we have to wait for more information.

Great booster return video, with lots of close-ups, and some fairing shots too

Witness the full disconnect and retract/fold process for the SpaceX Octograbber🤖, captured at max #Fleetcam zoom.

You can even see the latches retract from the booster. Entire process was approximately 40 minutes real-time.

Fleet leading @SpaceX #falcon9 #block5 B-1049.7 is leaving Port Canaveral and heading back to #capecanaveral for refurbishment and a future 8th flight while traffic on HWY 401 was stopped in both directions. What a great sight to stumble upon. Congratulations to #SpaceX ! 🚀🚀🚀
