I don't know you guys what you're saying about the strongback not retracting. It is retracted and you can go back and watch it being retracted. It takes about a minute until it is in launch position and you can see it retracting if you go and play it a twice the speed, it's funny hearing Siva speaking fast

A SUPER rare occurrence at @NASAKennedy today. THREE boosters on their pads, ready(ish) for launch. What an amazing photo.

I received the notice from the NGA.  Even though the weather forecast only had one backup day, there are actually two.

Primary Day = Saturday, October 3 at ~12:34 UTC.
Backup Day #1 = Sunday, October 4 at ~12:12 UTC.
Backup Day #2 = Monday, October 5 at ~11:51 UTC.

ignificantly less inclined compared to, for instance, the March 18th Starlink v1.0 launch.
That appearance is due to differences in the lighting.
The Sun is in a slightly different direction, so the shadows are different.
Look at the strap that wraps around the fairing during rollout.
Very similar fractions of it can be seen.
But even that comparison relies on the cameras being in the same place.
(I think it is a fixed SpaceX installation.)

The slight lean-back happens at T-4:00 IIRC.
Because they didn’t scrub then we can have 100% confidence the TE was working properly.
SpaceX is not relying on us to be “That Internet Guy”  who spots something on the video feed that eludes their multitudinous sensors.

There is a difference in TEL position that is certainly not a consequence of lighting or billowing vapor confounding effects, try switching back and forth between the cropped images I posted. The TEL *did* retract somewhat (starting at T-4:30), I wasn't saying it didn't at all - but there's a visible difference in opening angles between today's scrubbed attempt and other past launches.

Maybe it's within tolerance and there's a lax range of angles it can rest at (the leanback is always not quite smooth, it oscillates back and forth a little bit before settling, probably due to the pneumatics controlling it being pressurized) and we're just paying attention to it due to the GSE scrub, but we certainly cannot as outsiders say there's 100% confidence the TEL didn't intervene - it could well be there's a time period over which it can reach its complete leanback and it didn't quite make it. Or not, but please let's try not to be "That Internet Guy" (i.e. the one who makes categorical statements with incomplete information) from both sides of the conversation.

When did 39A get the lighting tower wires?  After Demo-2.  When did I miss that?
And I guess more importantly, why were they added?
