The third Sputnik, launched on May 15, 1958, was commemorated with this special Soviet stamp, issued on June 16.

On July, 20, 1958, Romania reissued an earlier space series to celebrate the World Fair, Brussels. They included an overprint.

Berlin issued on August 13, 1958 two stamps to celebrate the "78th German Day of Catholism" which included a reference to the now popular theme of artificial satellites!

On September 28, 1958, Romania issued a stamp commemorating the flight of Sputnik 3. Note the mention of vehicle's weight.

More stamps to commemorate the International Geophysical Year: the Republic of Haiti issued three space-related stamps on October 8, 1958. First time we can see an american satellite on stamps.

Poland celebrated the 400th anniversary of Polish postage with a space theme stamp issued October 8, 1958.

The 40th anniversary of the Komsomol was celebrated with a stamp where we can see a small Sputnik-3. Issued on 25 October 1958.

Bulgaria issued on November 18, 1958, her commemoration of the International Geophysical Year. We have a normal stamp and an imperforated one, showing Sputnik 3.

The stamp that commemorated the 21st Communist Party Congress (USSR) used the space theme, on January 3, 1959.

I had forgotten this one. A stamp from Romania, issued on February 3, 1959. It commemorated the Sputnik mission.
