Speculation: Could this be the next launch from Taiyuan LC-9? Looking through the recent years' history of launches from TSLC LC-9, the minimum turn-around time for LC-9 is approximately 20 days. The last launch from this launch complex was on July 25 UTC.

The launch was a complete success.
The Long March IV B carrier rocket, developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. in august, has a single-star and multi-star launch capability for launching a variety of satellites and different orbital requirements, and has a solar synchronous circular orbit carrying capacity of 2.5 tons (orbital altitude 700 km).
The mission is the third in this year's Long March IV series of launch vehicles, kicking off the 2020 model's continuous high-density launch. In the recent stage, the Long March IV series of launch vehicles is facing two base launch missions in Taiyuan and Jiuquan in parallel. In order to ensure high-quality completion of this task, the project office planning ahead of time, from the follow-up mission planning arrangements, product and ground equipment configuration, key tasks to ensure the success of the means to do a comprehensive planning, to ensure that the technical status is correct, risk identification in place, effective control measures, reliable product quality.
In order to meet the requirements of the satellite envelope, the rocket is equipped with a s4m von Carmen rective shroud, and the use of high-altitude wind passive load reduction technology, reducing the additional load caused by high-altitude wind, enhance the rocket's ability to adapt to the wind field. At the same time, this model for the first time added a wireless star cover environmental monitoring system, simplifying the launch area of the satellite rectification hood temperature and humidity environment detection.
Long March 4 series launch vehicle development team for the separation system, by optimising product redundancy, further eliminate single-point fault link, improve the reliability of the whole arrow; In order to ensure high quality at the same time effectively improve the efficiency of quality control and the effectiveness of the implementation of the work, effectively guarantee the "three high" requirements of the landing, to help the construction of space power.
The satellite launched is the space science and technology group's five institutes to grasp the total development of the high score of 11 02 stars, will be mainly used in land census, urban planning, land rights, road network design, crop assessment and disaster prevention and mitigation and other fields, for the "Belt and Road" and other major national strategic implementation and national defence modernisation to provide information security.
The launch was the 345th launch of the Long March series of launch vehicles and the 122nd flight test of the Long March series of launch vehicles developed by the Eight Houses.
