Dragon capsule is Endeavour. :D
Yawn 😴
Is there a historic name with less connotation?
What kind of wastrels would dump a perfectly good booster in the ocean after just one use?

I think it’s noteworthy that every single entity that has sent humans to space started with airplanes. Until now. These guys started with rockets. There’s some “wow” in there somewhere.

Well it was their personal choice, so it has a lot of connotation for *them*. Both of them had their first space flight on the Shuttle Endeavor.

Yawn?

As a diehard shuttle nerd, I got giddy when I heard that was the name.  ;D

"As you can see, these are somewhat tight quarters" they say as they fly around in all the open space in the capsule. What an improvement over Soyuz.

Tally ho.  I just saw ISS pass over my house with "Endeavour" about a hands width behind.  Endeavour was barely visible.

Just watched the ISS and Endeavour pass overhead, outside of Boston. Took a couple of pictures but just looks like streaks. The ISS was very bright and Endeavor was spotted easily trailing by about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

This was the first Dragon I have spotted in orbit. The last time I saw something similar was in 2007. Then, it was with the shuttle Endeavour and the ISS passing overhead Misawa, Japan.

Respectfully,
Rob

Spotted Dragon outside, it was amazing and beautiful, it was low in the atmosphere cause of its inclination but it made it looked so close, bright, and fast!! Crazy to see it fly by and knowing I watch it launch today and the fact that two people are in it, in space, currently sleeping haha. - South New Jersey

ISS going into sunset (lower right) with Dragon Endeavour following in the upper left, a few minutes ago from SE Pennsylvania.

All space geeks will have an opinion. I'm totally happy with Endeavour.
The guys who made the choice are the ones who strapped their pink fannies on the pointy end of a Falcon 9.
Go Endeavour!

Same here from mid-Michigan. Dragon Endeavour flared bright for a few seconds when I first saw it, but was otherwise quite dim. My iPhone was able to capture the ISS on video, but not Dragon.

Just saw it from Michigan! Bright enough to see naked eye in the dusk sky as it trailed the very bright station. That's three for me: Shuttle; Soyuz; Dragon.

Does anyone have a recording of the manual flight test? It shows some brilliant stuff in the touch screen. They run the checklist on the center screen and get notification for each item. Just to top it off, they end by adjusting some capsule settings while Bob takes photos on his tablet.

Looked around a bit to see if anyone else mentioned this but didn't see it (may have missed it). Has anyone else been reminded of Apollo 15? (CSM: Endeavour, LM: Falcon)

Caught a brilliant pass of the ISS being chased by Endeavor at ~10:25 CDT, flying over St. Louis.  Endeavor was about 1 minute behind, and obviously dimmer than ISS, but clearly visible.

I waved, but I didn't shout, because I knew they are sleeping.   ;D
