I'm looking at the SpaceX youtube channel, will there be a press conference soon, interview with the astronauts, or anything?

Well done, SpaceX, NASA, Bob & Doug
Starship, Vulcan and Ariane 6 have all reached orbit.  New Glenn, well we are waiting!

Is there a reason no video?  I thought I heard something about it during one of the calls but I'm not sure.

Well, during STS days, it was common to not schedule any TV or live video events for a day or more to give crew time for first-orbit tasks, and to get acclimated to zero-g in case they got motion sick. ISS docking will come sooner than that, and these guys are both veterans, so I suspect it's a combo of task loading for the crew, system checkouts and bandwidth limits.

I'm slightly amused that despite some of the world's most most stringent controls on software and procedures, they still advised the crew to put lens caps on the cameras, to make SURE they don't show the astronauts in their underwear as they doff their spacesuits and put on something more comfortable.  Just like folks at home putting masking tape over their webcam when they are not using it.

Has anyone found a feed of the the audio only? SpaceX Mission Control doesn't have it, and the Nasa Media channel now have the hosts instead of audio only... :(

What did Commander Hurley say right as liftoff occurred? I couldn't make it out over the Timer controller.

Still haven’t heard any change of callsign away from “Dragon.” Perhaps that will happen when they briefly take manual control?

Very exciting - we have not seen that for a long time.  But as soon as Bridenstein came on we had to turn it off.  It was stomach-turning.  We will not be watching any more SpaceX/NASA launches.

You need to suck up to Trump, or you lose your job. JB's just politically savvy, knows what to say and when to say it.

Their zero G indicator was a dinosaur... maybe the capsule's name is going to be Rex or something

What does the external view show? I can't place it...
You want to be inspired by things. You want to wake up in the morning and think the future is going to be great. That's what being a spacefaring civilization is all about. It's about believing in the future and believing the future will be better than the past. And I can't think of anything more exciting than being out there among the stars.

Thats from the ISS, not Dragon

"One-alpha!", abort mode through about max-Q. He repeats it shortly after, I guess he assumed a comm dropout as noone seemed to acknowledge the first call.

The SpaceX channel commentators keep repeating the phrase "American spacecraft launched from American soil"... Never thought about it before, but I am beginning to wonder if it is a small dig at Russia launching its spacecraft from Kazakhstan.
